Delta Doubles MKE-BOS Capacity

Aug. 15, 2016

Citing growing demand for business travel between Milwaukee and Boston, Delta Air Lines on Aug. 15, announced that it will increase flights on its existing nonstop service between Milwaukee County’s General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) and Boston Logan International Airport.

Delta will add a second daily nonstop flight between the two cities beginning June 8.  The added frequency allows Delta to have both morning and evening nonstop departures from both cities.

“Delta is the second-largest carrier at MKE and has a strong, loyal following here.  This additional business-friendly schedule will give our travelers even more ways to travel to New England,” County Executive Chris Abele said.  “The additional Boston flights also allow for easy one-stop connections from Milwaukee to Delta’s international network, including London, Paris and Amsterdam.”

“We’re seeing growing demand for business travel between Boston and key markets like...Milwaukee,” said Joe Esposito, Delta’s vice president–network planning. “We’re meeting that demand with our industry-leading operational performance as well as innovative products and service.”

The additional frequency to Boston will be operated with CRJ-900 dual-class jets, featuring 12 First Class seats, 12 Delta Comfort+ seats, and 52 Main Cabin seats.  Delta also has nonstop service from MKE to Atlanta, Cancun, Cincinnati, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, New York LaGuardia, and Orlando.
