Ralph Hood to Speak at Alabama Aviation Hall of Fame Induction

Ralph Hood, Airport Business columnist since 1986, will be the speaker for the 2016 Induction Ceremony and Banquet of the Alabama Aviation Hall of Fame at the Southern Museum of Flight, Aug. 27.

Ralph — who is himself a member of the Hall of Fame — has spoken for hundreds of aviation groups from Alaska to Puerto Rico and from California to Malaga, Spain. He has also written for aviation publications including AOPA Pilot, AOPA Flight Training, Aircraft Maintenance Technician, and has also written three books, "Including Ground Clutter, The Book," and taught aviation management for Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.

He sold and insured aircraft on dealer and distributor levels and as sales manager of Huntsville Aviation, Huntsville, Ala.

Ralph is well-known in aviation for his wit and explosive humor as a speaker and writer.
