July 28, 2016

Oakland International Airport today announces new nonstop service to Las Vegas on Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT). To celebrate, Allegiant, known for its ultra-low fares, is offering one-way fares on the route for as low as $29.

“We’re very excited to offer Bay Area travelers a friendly low-cost option to visit our hometown of Las Vegas,” said Lukas Johnson, Allegiant vice president of network and pricing. “We know folks will enjoy being able to use our convenient, affordable service to get away to the Entertainment Capital of the World.”

The new nonstop flights will operate five times weekly between Oakland International Airport (OAK) and McCarran International Airport (LAS). Flights begin October 5, 2016. The new route will add to Allegiant’s current service to the Bay Area, which includes nonstop flights from nine cities. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.

“We are so pleased that Allegiant will soon offer service between Las Vegas and the Bay Area five days per week, which will be its 10th nonstop market here,” said Bryant L. Francis, director of aviation for Oakland International Airport. “This air service addition will contribute to the continuation of passenger growth that the Airport is experiencing. Allegiant, with its innovative travel solutions, is a partner which we hope continues to expand its base of operations at OAK.”
