LATAM Airlines Brasil Announces New Miami-Recife Service

LATAM Airlines Brasil announced July 14, that it will soon launch the ticket sales for its new nonstop flights between Miami and Recife, Brazil. Starting Sept. 24, the company will operate the new route with weekly service on a Boeing 767 aircraft, with 191 seats in Economy class and 30 seats in Premium Business class.

“Today marks the launch of yet another nonstop flight to the United States from a city in Brazil, despite the country’s challenging economic scenario, which shows that it’s possible to assess the feasibility and opportunities of each region, especially if there is dialogue with these markets for forging important alliances,” said Claudia Sender, CEO of LATAM Airlines Brasil. “We’re always attentive to our customers’ needs, because they’re the ones who benefit the most from the agility and convenience provided by launches such as this.”

Tickets will soon be available via LATAM's webiste and other sales channels, such as partner travel agencies and LATAM Travel stores, which is the new brand of LANTOURS and TAM Viagens.

The Recife-Miami flight of LATAM Airlines Brasil will operate under the code JJ8198 on Saturdays. The return flight (Miami-Recife) will operate under the code JJ8199, also on Saturdays.
