Hong Kong Airlines Celebrates New Flight to Osaka

Hong Kong Airlines launched its daily direct service to Osaka, Japan July 15. The new service further strengthens the airline's network in Japan. Celebrations were held by the company at both Hong Kong International Airport and Kansai International Airport to mark this new milestone.

Before departure, all passengers scheduled to depart by the Hong Kong flight were presented with a commemorative certificate and souvenir to mark the occasion and show gratitude for their support of the route. Passengers taking the inaugural flight expressed their excitement about the journey ahead. On arrival at Kansai International Airport following flight HX6028, all passengers, flight crew and representatives of Hong Kong Airlines received a warm welcome from airport representatives.

Li Dianchun,  chief commercial officer of Hong Kong Airlines said, "Osaka is a city of great charm, and with its proximity to popular travel destinations around Kansai area such as Kyoto, Nara and Kobe, there are always reasons to visit Osaka. Hong Kong Airlines will continue to expand our route network in Japan and Asia, providing more travelling options for tourists, while strengthening Hong Kong's position as one of the world's major aviation hubs."

Later, all passengers scheduled to depart by the Osaka flight were presented with specially designed goodie bags to commemorate Hong Kong Airlines' flight HX6029 from Kansai to Hong Kong. At the check-in counter, passengers were greeted with Hong Kong-food-themed photo props, setting their mood for the journey and enabling them to share the happy moments on social media platforms.
