July 11, 2016

AirMall at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall) offers travelers more dining options with regional flavor with the additions of Harbor Grille and SPAGnVOLA.

“AirMall is continually striving to ensure the best experience for our travelers,” said Brett Kelly, vice president of AirMall Maryland. “These great new additions to BWI Marshall will help satisfy every craving whether it’s a delicious pre-flight meal or a thoughtful, unique gift for the chocolate lover at home.”

Harbor Grille (2,212 sf), located in Concourse C, features a wide menu of American classics for every meal from crab cake BLT and harbor shrimp tacos to district cocktails like the Baltimore Crush and tasty concoctions like the Capital Smoothie. The full-service restaurant/bar seats 86 and offers soups of the day, fresh salads, starters, flat breads, burgers and sandwiches, chef special plates, and a harbor breakfast menu complete with smoothies and Bloody Marys.

Maryland’s gourmet chocolatier SPAGnVOLA (100 sf) offers an array of handcrafted chocolate bars, bonbons and truffles in its new boutique in Concourse A. Eric and Crisoire Reid take pride in their work, hand-picking cacao beans from their single-estate farm in the Dominican Republic to roast and refine them in their Gaithersburg, Md. facility. SPAGnVOLA’s sustainable farming, professional transparency and employee support are indicative of the values that guide the chocolatier’s practices. In July 2016, SPAGnVOLA was named one of the top 10 chocolate shops in the world by National Geographic.

“We continue working to create new, exciting retail and dining options for our passengers,” said Ricky Smith, chief executive officer, BWI Marshall. “These new offerings join the world-class amenities already available to our customers.”
