Legend Aeroserve Hosts Commemorative Air Force Tour

July 7, 2016

Avfuel-branded FBO Legend AeroServe will share aviation history with its community as it hosts the Commemorative Air Force during its fly-in as a stop on the organization’s AirPower History Tour from Aug. 22 – 24.

The CAF will bring its iconic Boeing B-29 Superfortress bomber—FIFI—along with a C-45 Expeditor to the FBO’s fly-in event. Spectators can view the aircraft up close, watch them fly and even reserve a ride online

Admission to the ramp is $10 for adults, $5 for children 11-17 and free for children 10 or under. All are welcomed to join in the week’s festivities from 2 – 5 p.m. Aug. 22, and from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Aug. 23-24.

“These aircraft are a rich part of aviation history,” said Mike Miller, Legend AeroServe manager. “We find it our duty to help share this history with our community and to communicate how critical aviation has truly been since its conception, particularly from World War II forward. Aviation is full of innovation—our industry has come a long way in such a short amount of time, and you can really appreciate that ingenuity when you step onto one of these aircraft.”
