Hawthorne Global Aviation Services Host Event at RYY

More than 200 people attended the business aviation event June 29. at Cobb County International Airport, hosted by Hawthorne Global Aviation Services, the Cobb County International Airport (KRYY) and the Georgia Business Aviation Association.    Held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event showcased the new improvements and services at Cobb County International Airport, the first Atlanta metro-area general aviation airport to offer on-site U.S. Customs inspection and staff, with customs services. 

In addition, more than six business jets were on display, including an Embraer Legacy and Phenom 300, Gulfstream G550, Dassault Falcon 2000, Citation Latitude and King Air 350.

The Hawthorne Atlanta FBO has more than 500,000 square feet of hangar space capable of accommodating up to G650, a 6,000-square-foot passenger terminal, and first class amenities such as pilot lounges and conference facilities. Hawthorne Atlanta also features extensive services for pilots including computer flight planning, weather service and after-hours fuel and emergency services.   It is a full-service Shell Aviation fueling station.
