Steve Thiry Named President of Fives Cincinnati

Thiry brings over thirty years of international and domestic manufacturing experience, and most recently served as CEO of Fives Landis Ltd, in the UK. He will be based at Fives Cincinnati, located in Hebron, KY.
HEBRON, Ky., June 6, 2016 – Steve Thiry has been named president of Fives Cincinnati and its Global Services division. Mr. Thiry brings over thirty years of international and domestic manufacturing experience, and most recently served as CEO of Fives Landis Ltd, in the UK.

Before joining Fives, Thiry served as Director of Business Development at The Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT). In that capacity he provided management consulting to American manufacturers seeking to expand into international markets. He established member support services in Eastern Europe and India and expanded existing services in China.
 
Thiry’s experience includes serving as Director Market Analysis & Integration at Crane Co, an American industrial products company. There, he led business acquisition and integration of multiple international and domestic companies, and their global pump businesses. Previously he served as Vice President Europe at Ingersoll Rand, leading business in Western Europe, the Middle East, South Africa, and the CIS.  As General Manager of their Asia Pacific business he established new joint venture companies in China and India while leading existing operations in Australia, Japan, and Korea. 
 
He earned his undergraduate degree in from St. Norbert College and received his Master’s degree in Business from Rutgers University. He will be based at Fives Cincinnati, located in Hebron, KY and plans to relocate to the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Steve will begin his duties on June 20, 2016.
