May 27, 2016

Paradies Lagardère and the Tampa International Airport on May 27, hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of a CNBC-branded store in Airside A. This is the 115th CNBC-branded store opened in partnership with Paradies Lagardère, and marks the first Paradies Lagardère-operated store at the airport.

CNBC-branded stores offer various products, including snacks and beverages, as well as basic travel essentials. Each location features CNBC programming throughout the day on large television screens. The Tampa International Airport store will offer a large variety of products, souvenirs and gifts that represent Tampa and the regional area. Grab-and-go sandwiches and treats from local favorite Alessi Bakery will also be available for purchase in the store.

“CNBC is an iconic, internationally-known brand that will resonate with travelers visiting the airport. The power of this brand is exemplified by the more than 100 CNBC-branded stores in airports around the country, and it’s one of the most recognized and successful airport retail brands in the industry. Paradies Lagardère looks forward to introducing more exciting new brands at Tampa International Airport for travelers to enjoy, such as Dylan’s Candy Bar, SPANX, PGA TOUR, Tampa Bay Times, Hyde Park News, and WFLA News Channel 8,” said Gregg Paradies, president and CEO at Paradies Lagardère.
