May 24, 2016
Beginning in October of 2016, the company will be offering HTF7000 minor and line maintenance services to European business aviation operators from its existing Tilburg, the Netherlands facility.

GENEVA  –  May 23, 2016 – StandardAero was recently authorized by Honeywell as the exclusive major maintenance provider for overhaul services for the Honeywell HTF7000 family of turbofan engines.  StandardAero will also own and maintain HTF7000 rental bank engines to support operators during major engine overhauls.  Additionally, this authorization is a worldwide authorization for line and minor repair capabilities.

Today, StandardAero is announcing that beginning in October of 2016, the company will be offering HTF7000 minor and line maintenance services to European business aviation operators from its existing Tilburg, the Netherlands facility.

HTF7000-series engines are maintained with an on-condition maintenance program which reduces engine downtime and allows more engine MRO work to be performed in the field or at the operator’s location.  The Tilburg location provides a central European location with excellent access to major airports and the ability to quickly dispatch mobile service trucks fleets to reach most European operator locations within 24 hours.

“We are thrilled that Honeywell has selected us to offer these services to HTF7000-series engine operators in the EMEA region and beyond,” said Marc McGowan, President of StandardAero Business Aviation.  “Our Tilburg facility has more than 20 years’ experience providing 24/7 field service and mobile support to customers in the EMEA region as well as other harder to reach destinations worldwide.  We look forward to expanding this capability to operators of HTF7000 engines.”

Typical HTF7000 MRO services to be offered from Tilburg will include 2,000/4,000/8,000 hour inspections, hot section repairs, troubleshooting, engineering and logistic support.  StandardAero will also provide rental engine support to European operators, utilizing the company’s fleet of HTF7000 rental bank engines.

Honeywell HTF7000 family of turbofan engines currently powers Bombardier Challenger 300/350, Embraer Legacy 450/500, Gulfstream G280 and Cessna Citation Longitude business jets.
