HMSHost International Expands in Middle East with its First Airport F&B Outlets in Doha and New Outlets in Abu Dhabi

In Qatar HMSHost International and Qatar Airways represented by Qatar Duty Free Company agreed on a seven- year contract for four food and beverage outlets with total sales expected at over 80 million euros.

Schiphol, May 3nd 2016 – HMSHost International, a world leader in travel dining, is expanding its presence in the Middle East through a new partnership with Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar, and an agreement with existing partner Abu Dhabi Airport Company in the United Arab Emirates.  In Qatar HMSHost International and Qatar Airways represented by Qatar Duty Free Company agreed on a seven- year contract for four food and beverage outlets with total sales expected at over 80 million euros. Through the partnership and additional agreements, HMSHost will open 4 innovative food and beverage outlets in Doha in the second half of 2016. In the UAE, the Capital city’s airport appointed eleven stores to HMSHost International with contracts averaging seven and a half years and ranging in duration from five to ten years. Total sales are expected to approach 164 million euros. The stores at the Abu Dhabi International Airport are expected to open end of 2017.
