As the world’s largest university specializing in aviation and aerospace, Embry-Riddle offers more than 80 undergraduate and graduate degrees.

AABI approved Embry-Riddle’s special accreditation at its February 2016 Board of Trustees meeting. It is the accrediting body for aviation programs at colleges and universities throughout the United States and abroad. In 2015, AABI awarded accreditation to Embry-Riddle Worldwide’s B.S. in Aeronautics, another first for AABI, which previously had never accredited an aviation program that involved multiple campus locations with various methods of delivery that include classroom instruction, online learning, virtual classroom and blended programs. Earlier this year, Embry-Riddle launched a Ph.D. in Aviation Business Administration, the first in the U.S. to focus on the business aspects of the aviation industry. In total, the university offers seven doctoral programs in addition to Aviation and Aviation Business Administration – Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Human Factors and Mechanical Engineering.
