Western Aircraft Appoints Director of Aircraft Services

It has appointed Jody Harris as its Director of Aircraft Services.

BOISE, Idaho, March 9, 2016 –Western Aircraft, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, announced today that it has appointed Jody Harris as its Director of Aircraft Services.

With more than 17 years in aviation, Mr. Harris started his position at Western Aircraft in 1999 as a maintenance technician and most recently served as the company’s Senior Service Manager.

“Jody’s background, expertise and character makes him the ideal person for this position,” said Vice President and General Manager for Western Aircraft Austin Shontz. “He knows our capabilities and our customers and his leadership is evident.”

A U.S. Army Persian Gulf War veteran, Mr. Harris served six years as a CH-47 Chinook Helicopter Flight Engineer. He holds an Associate Degree in Aviation Management from Eastern New Mexico University as well an Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
