Dennis Wetjens Appointed Managing Director Of EPCOR

Paris, Amstelveen, 10 February 2016 - After 4 years heading up several KLM E&M's Aircraft Hangar Maintenance divisions, Dennis Wetjens has taken up his new position as Managing Director at EPCOR, the AFI KLM E&M subsidiary specializing in the repair and maintenance of pneumatic systems and Auxiliary Power Units (APUs). He takes over from Romain Helmer, now AFI KLM E&M VP Sales Europe & Key Accounts.

A graduate of both, Dutch Eindhoven University of Technology and Business Universiteit Nyenrode, Dennis Wetjens started out in 2006 as a management trainee within KLM. After his traineeship he joined the Ground Services division being responsible for both KLM's departure and arrival processes at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. After two years Dennis started at KLM Engineering & Maintenance as Operations Manager before heading Wide Body C-/D-checks and cabin modifications, and later Wide Body A-checks. During these aircraft maintenance positions he leaded several complex organizational and productivity programs.
