Mendonca to Design Aviation Projects at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff

Valquirio (Val) Mendonca has been named airfield design manager in the Boston transportation and infrastructure office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff.

In his new position, Mendonca will be responsible for development, design and engineering for aviation projects throughout the Northeast. Mendonca has over 31 years of experience performing design, project management, resident engineering and construction management for large and small airport improvement projects. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was a senior project manager at HNTB Corp. in Boston, where he managed the design and construction of airport improvement projects.

He has a B.S. in civil engineering from Wentworth Institute. His professional affiliations include the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Construction Management Association of America.
