FlightSafety Names Thierry Pierard as an Assistant Manager of its Dallas Learning Center

Thierry joined FlightSafety in 2004 as an instructor for the Falcon 20 series at the company’s Learning Center in Dallas. He was promoted to Assistant Director of Training in 2010 and then to his most recent position as Director of Training in 2014.

NEW YORK (December 15, 2015) - FlightSafety International announces that Thierry Pierard has been named as an Assistant Manager of the company’s Learning Center in Dallas, Texas.

Thierry joined FlightSafety in 2004 as an instructor for the Falcon 20 series of aircraft at the company’s Learning Center in Dallas, Texas. He was named Program Manager of Dassault Falcon 20 aircraft training in 2005, became Program Manager of Falcon 2000 training in 2006, and was named Program Manager of Falcon 7X training in 2008.

He was promoted to Assistant Director of Training in 2010 and then to his most recent position as Director of Training in 2014. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and is an FAA Gold Seal Certified Flight Instructor with Instrument and Multi-Engine Instructor privileges.

Thierry holds type ratings in five aircraft and served as a captain and check airman for several Part 91 and Part 135 on-demand air carriers prior to joining FlightSafety. He graduated from Institut Supérieur Industriel in Liège, Belgium, with a specialization in electronics engineering.

The Dallas Learning Center offers training for a wide variety of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft manufactured by Bell Helicopter, Bombardier, Dassault, Embraer, Gulfstream, and Pilatus using a fleet of 24 simulators.
