Michael Fitch has joined Legacy Aviation Services as Sales & Marketing Director.
With more than 23 years of sales and customer service experience in the aviation industry, Mr. Fitch will oversee the sales and customer relationship efforts of Legacy’s FBO/MRO operation specifically in the area of maintenance and repair, parts, and component overhaul as well as fuel sales.
Legacy Aviation operates from its expanded facility on Clarence E. Page Airport (KRCE) just outside of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Legacy is a leader in maintenance, repair and overhaul services to turbo prop and light jet model aircraft, specializing in the Twin Commander, Beech King Air and Citation 500 series.
Prior to joining Legacy, Michael Fitch spent his career working for a large manufacturer of civilian and military aircraft environmental control systems; starting on the manufacturing floor as a part and assembly expert, and quickly earning a position in the company’s sales and customer service division.
In his years of supporting aviation clients worldwide, Michael made the acquaintance of RJ Gomez, who at the time was working for a large MRO in Caracas, Venezuela. In 2005, Mr. Gomez founded and became CEO of Legacy Aviation.

Michael will be focused on maintaining the existing customer base of Legacy while introducing owner-operators who are not familiar with Legacy to the full service FBO/MRO.
Centrally located in the middle of the US, Legacy has a niche position to capture market share of the business and general aviation customer from coast to coast with outstanding technical service, low cost fuel, and comfortable facilities. Legacy also has a satellite parts operation in Miami, Florida to serve South American customers.

Michael has relocated to Oklahoma City from the Dallas area. He joined Legacy Aviation Services in November.
