LAS VEGAS – Nov. 18, 2015 – Avionica Inc., the world’s leading aircraft data collection and data transmission manufacturer, announced an agreement for Constant Aviation LLC to be the first dealer and installation center of all Avionica products, including flight data management (FDM) services, flight operational quality assurance (FOQA) data, and Safety Certified SATCOM products in the business aviation segment.

Avionica’s avSYNC solution for FOQA and flight data management (FDM) is an immediate data download service with the new 4G wireless cellular module and miniaturized quick access recorder (QAR). Once the miniQAR is installed and configured, a roughly two-hour process, avSYNC starts transmitting all FDR data and eliminates the “sneaker-net” operations so familiar to maintenance crews. The service is fully automatic and capable of immediate data transfer upon aircraft landing anywhere in the world.
To date, Avionica has installed miniQAR equipment to capture data on more than 8,000 aircraft, including those manufactured by Boeing, Gulfstream, Dassault, Cessna and Bombardier/Learjet. Plus, airlines such as Emirates, United, GOL, UPS and COPA have used Avionica products for 23 years.
Avionica’s satellite communications product, satLINK MAX, is the lightest and highest performing Iridium™ satellite communications solution currently approved for the Boeing 737 as well as the Boeing 777, 767 and 757.
