ESP PurePower PW800 is a new leading-edge service plan exclusively designed for owners and operators of PW800 engines offering a fully planned and preventive approach to maintenance that optimizes aircraft productivity and performance.

Following a milestone year, Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) proudly introduces ESP®PurePower® PW800, the most comprehensive service plan for the business aviation market. P&WC is a United Technologies Corp. company (NYSE:UTX).

In addition to Gulfstream's selection of the PurePower® PW800 engine family for its new G500 and G600 ultra-long-range business jets and the successful first flight of the G500 aircraft, P&WC also received type certification for the PW814GA and PW815GA engines, adding to the achievements of the last twelve months.

ESP PurePower PW800 is a new leading-edge service plan exclusively designed for owners and operators of PW800 engines offering a fully planned and preventive approach to maintenance that optimizes aircraft productivity and performance. This outstanding plan will deliver comprehensive coverage for heavy and line maintenance, combining numerous all-inclusive services - from engine wash, borescope inspections and troubleshooting support, to prioritized access to technical experts and much more.

With extensive coverage for PW800 customers, the plan will be backed by a highly experienced support team as well as a customer manager dedicated to meeting customers' specific requirements. The ESP PurePower PW800 plan will offer a seamless service experience that will maximize aircraft availability through the world's largest skilled network of experts. P&WC is consulting with operators in order to finalize the details of this plan, targeted for full roll out in 2017.

Proven performance

The PurePower PW800 engine family has accumulated more than 4,000 hours of full-engine testing, simulating a diverse range of aircraft missions and environments, and more than 600 hours on P&WC's 747 flying test aircraft. The engine shares the same proven common-core technology used in Pratt & Whitney's award-winning PurePower Geared Turbofan™ engine, which includes five other engine applications and has amassed over 23,000 hours of core testing.
