ZURICH / November 13, 2015 – Jet Aviation was honored at the inaugural Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) 2015 Gala Awards event recently held in Hong Kong. The company’s aircraft management and charter operation in Hong Kong received AsBAA’s Best Management Company Industry Award and Jet Aviation Singapore won for Best Maintenance & Repair Services.

On November 6, 2015, AsBAA hosted approximately 240 guests at its inaugural Industry Awards Charity Gala Dinner to commend the best within the industry and acknowledge their vital support of the business aviation market in Asia. Jet Aviation received awards in two separate categories: the company’s aircraft management and charter business in Hong Kong received the Best Management Company Industry Award; Jet Aviation Singapore was presented the Best Maintenance & Repair Services Industry Award.

“I’m thrilled for the team to see their efforts so conspicuously recognized and I feel very privileged to accept this award on their behalf,” said Barry Collier, managing director and director of operations for Jet Aviation Business Jets, Hong Kong. “Safety and service excellence are our top priorities in all aspects of our operations and across the full spectrum of our capabilities. Our network of dispatch offices around the world allows us to function globally, but it is a distinct honor for our efforts to be recognized locally.”

“We are committed to engaging with our members,” said AsBAA chairman Charlie Mularski. “We’re also committed to growing our membership, which in turn will increase our influence and ability to tackle the issues the industry is facing in Asia. It’s vital that AsBAA is working to make headway on our initiatives relating to regulatory reform and the student chapter, but it’s also important to take a step back and recognize the good work of the industry.”

“I am very proud of my team for this great achievement,” said John Riggir, vice president and general manager at Jet Aviation Singapore. “The Best Maintenance & Repair Services award recognizes the hard work, dedication and perseverance of our FBO and maintenance professionals who constantly strive to surpass the highest standards. This kind of industry acknowledgement clearly shows that our culture of continuous improvement is appreciated by our industry peers and customers.”
