Luxembourg, November 12th 2015 – BCO Aviation, the specialist in aviation markings and aircraft film-based decoration was assigned production and installation of a special livery dedicated to the celebration of the 45-year anniversary of the Luxembourgish flag carrier, Cargolux.
Since 1970, Cargolux has established as one of the largest all-cargo airline in the world. Nowadays, the company operates 25 Boeing 747 freighters through a worldwide network of 90 destinations.
To celebrate their 45 years of success, Cargolux appointed BCO Aviation team of professionals, experts in aircraft marking operations, to provide with a special branding based on aviation adhesive film. To manage this special branding project, BCO Aviation worked closely with Cargolux engineering department, bringing its expertise for the project management, the manufacturing and installation of the decals.
The challenge was to match the new decals background with the fuselage painting, both on recent aircraft and on aircraft showing some signs of age. Therefore, BCO opted for a high performance and durable transparent material that offers a high-end finishing of their aircraft special branding.
