SWISS Selects Esterline CMC Electronics’ New PilotView® 12.1 Inch Electronic Flight Bag and Aircraft Information Server for their Bombardier CSeries Aircraft

Coupled to this display, the PilotView Aircraft Information Server (AIS) will provide an integrated aircraft information management system, versatile aircraft network connectivity, and aircraft interface capabilities.

(Dubai Airshow – November 8, 2015) Esterline CMC Electronics is pleased to announce that Swiss International Air Lines is the first customer to select the company’s PilotView Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) factory option on their Bombardier CSeries aircraft.

Building on the PilotView platform, this new EFB system features a 12.1 inch LED display with multi-touch support, delivering high-end processing capabilities with its Intel Core i7 processor. Coupled to this display, the PilotView Aircraft Information Server (AIS) will provide an integrated aircraft information management system, versatile aircraft network connectivity, and aircraft interface capabilities.

In addition, over 30 STCs are available for the PilotView EFB on aircraft ranging from the Gulfstream GlV/GV, Bombardier Aerospace’s Challenger* 600* series* aircraft program, the Global* Express* and the Global Express XRS*, to the Airbus A320 and A330, Boeing B737 and B747-400.
