Satcom1 Appoints Jackie Nikolajsen as Chief Operating Officer

He will take on the responsibility of Satcom1’s operations management with a special focus on execution of lean processes between Satcom1’s headquarters in Denmark and Satcom1’s R&D, Consultancy and Technical Support facility in France.

Satcom1, the satellite communications and connectivity solutions provider specializing in VVIP, head-of-state, military and business jets, announces the appointment of Jackie Nikolajsen as Satcom1’s new Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Nikolajsen brings 20 years of technical, operational and senior management experience from the business aviation industry. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Nikolajsen has held several positions at the ExecuJet Europe as Head of Completion and Acceptance, Maintenance Manager, and Technical Director; as General Manager at Rizon Jet and most recently as a Senior Manager - Quality and Safety, Special Projects, FBO and Facilities at Qatar Executive.

With immediate effect Jackie Nikolajsen will take on the responsibility of Satcom1’s operations management with a special focus on execution of lean processes between Satcom1’s headquarters in Denmark and Satcom1’s R&D, Consultancy and Technical Support facility in France. Jackie Nikolajsen will also drive strategic operations planning and prioritize resources and projects in order to meet and deliver to customer requirements and expectations.

Jackie Nikolajsen will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Mr. Henrik Zinck and will be located in Satcom1’s new headquarters in Vallensbæk, Denmark.
