AVON, CT, USA: July 16, 2015 – Global Jet Services, Inc., a leading innovator specializing in on-location aviation maintenance and professional development training, has recently added the Phenom 300 to its existing training offering for Embraer aircraft.

The Course

A two-week Initial-level maintenance training course covers all applicable ATA chapters, addressing the Phenom 300 aircraft systems’ theory, operation, inspection, and servicing. Hands-on sessions are conducted to acquire an applied understanding of aircraft systems, and to participate in effective maintenance practices. This comprehensive Phenom 300 course examines LRU troubleshooting from a theoretical and functional perspective, and is the ideal way to introduce technicians to the aircraft.

The courseware exists for either traditional paperbound student manuals and workbooks, or tablet-based mobile technology. This latter choice offers portability to aid troubleshooting, along with powerful search and navigational features to rapidly locate reference material.

Line and Refresher courses are also offered for those technicians looking for a condensed learning experience with active student participation and moderate troubleshooting with available aircraft.

The Instructor

USAF veteran, Mr. Randall (Randy) Jakoubek is Global Jet’s Phenom 300 program manager, SME (subject matter expert), and primary instructor for this aircraft course.

He has over 35 years in aviation, and is an expert technician, training manager, and director of maintenance. Randy has been with Global Jet Services since 2000 teaching other core, technical, and aircraft classes.
