Greenville, SC— Stevens Aviation recently completed the first installation of Gogo Business Aviation’s ATG 5000 Wi-Fi system in a Citation 650. This capability enables the aircraft owner and passengers to extend their offices while flying, to surf the Internet, send and receive email with attachments, and log into their corporate VPN using their own personal laptop, smartphones and tablets. Up until now, others have not served the popular Citation 650 fleet for wifi. Stevens took on the project to develop and complete the STC, which is now available through Stevens Aviation for the entire 650 line (Citation 3, 6, and 7). In addition, while the Citation 650 was in for the STC, Stevens completed a beautiful paint and interior on the aircraft, all done at our Greenville, SC (GYH) facility. According to Phil Stearns, Sales Manager at Stevens Aviation, “we’re dedicated to helping increase the business efficiency of our Citation jet clients by extending their offices in flight.”
