Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority Invites Public To Kick Off For Master Plan Study

The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority will hold the public kick off for Vision2040, its master plan study, on June 29 and 30

The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority will hold the public kick off for Vision2040, its master plan study, on June 29 and 30. The public is invited and encouraged to attend to learn about the goals of the study, the master planning process and timeline.

Attendees will also be invited to interact with Airport Authority staff and representatives from Ricondo & Associates, the airport consultant leading the project.

The kick offs are the first of eight public engagement sessions that will be held over the next 18 months.

The first event will be held on Mon., June 29 at 6:30 p.m. at Durham City Hall located at 101 City Hall Plaza in Durham.

The second event will be held on Tues., June 30 at 6:30 p.m. at Raleigh City Hall located at 222 W. Hargett St. in Raleigh.

The master plan study will assess expected growth in airport activity and in the region, gauge existing facilities’ ability to meet that future demand and identify development solutions. Learn more about Vision2040.
