Sabena technics is Now Airbus A350 Approved

has received approval from the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) as Maintenance Organization for the new aircraft type (Part 145 approval).

Sabena technics has received approval from the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) as Maintenance Organization for the new aircraft type (Part 145 approval).

With this rating, the company is now able to deliver its expertise, quality and responsive airframe solutions to Airbus A350 operators from its dedicated maintenance facilities based in Bordeaux (France).

“We already benefit from a strong experience maintaining Airbus aircraft, including the A380, so we have the skills, the technical resources and now the approval to maintain the A350”, said Alain Leboucher, Head of Sales Airframe services at Sabena technics. “The A350 embodies many innovative technologies. We have been studying the aircraft and its connectivity systems so we could come up with solutions especially designed for the Airbus A350 operators”, he added.

Sabena Technics will be able to provide airlines with a full range of five maintenance and repair services dedicated to the new aircraft:
- Aircraft Maintenance Consulting (AMC),
- Aircraft Maintenance Services (AMS),
- Advanced Composite Workshop (ACW),
- Airworthiness Management Organization (AMO)
- Approved Modification Design (AMD).
