Greenwich AeroGroup Names New Leader of Professional Aviation Associates

WICHITA, Kan., June 1, 2015 – Greenwich AeroGroup has named James Walker as Vice President and General Manager of Professional Aviation Associates, a Greenwich AeroGroup company based in Atlanta, Ga., adjacent to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

“James is an entrepreneurial-minded operations leader that knows the demands and intricacies of serving the aviation community,” said Greenwich AeroGroup Senior Vice President of Component Repair and Overhaul and Parts Distribution Dave Miller. “His background of growth strategy and execution are a perfect fit to lead the customer service, operational and expansion initiatives of Professional Aviation Associates.”

Mr. Walker kicked off his aviation career by serving as a First Lieutenant, Air Traffic Control Officer in the United States Marine Corps and in the course of the last 29 years held various leadership positions within United Airlines, Northwest Airlines and AlliedSignal Aerospace. Most recently, Mr. Walker held the position of president and founder of Worthington Aviation, a global aviation parts distribution company supporting commercial, regional and corporate aircraft.

In addition to his military service, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Drexel University in Philadelphia.
