iCloth Screen Wipes now Available to General Aviation

Airline and Military favorite now available to the rest of us

Fingerprints and other grime on our display screens are inevitable. But the makers of iCloth have provided safe optical clarity on sensitive surfaces for over a decade, and they are now expanding beyond their usual airline and military markets into General Aviation.

iCloth Avionics wipes are individually-wrapped and premoistened to quickly, effectively and safely clean your screens and devices. Just one wipe does it all: there’s no cleaning with one wipe and buffing with another, or carrying and stashing bottles of spray liquid – iCloth wipes do everything well, and fast.

“We were approached with a problem plaguing pilots – dirt, smudges and fingerprints on flightdeck displays and the growing popularity of tablets as a flight navigation tool -- with no safe, convenient way to clean them. Our focus had always been on optical clarity of sensitive surfaces,” says Peter Hartlen, CEO. “So we adjusted and improved our product specifically for this need.”

About the iCloth:
Made of aerospace-grade DuPont™ Sontara® spunlaced nonwoven fabric (not paper), each individually-packaged iCloth wipe stays moist until you need it and contains a purified-water-based solution with a bit of isopropyl alcohol (no ammonia, no harsh damaging chemicals) to cut fingerprints, grease, and smears. It will safely clean and lift away gunk from EFIS, IFE, smartphones, tablets, other handheld devices and eyewear -- drying streak-free.

Getting behind the iCloth:
iCloth wipes meet or exceed requirements set by Boeing, Bombardier, Cessna, the United States Air Force and Navy, CMC Esterline Electronics as well as Air Canada, Delta and Southwest among others. In other words, it’s safe for use on GA screens, keypads, and devices. In the independent press, iCloth Avionics was recently positively reviewed by both General Aviation News and AOPA LIVE (video).

They really work: to date, over 10,000,000 wipes have been sold to pilots and the aerospace industry for use on untold thousands of electronic displays.

Now available to us:
