Coppell, TX (May 12, 2015) — Timothy T. (Tim) Archer, Group CEO, Superior Aviation Group has announced that Ana C. Fontes has been appointed Executive Vice President and General Manager of Superior AvConsulting Services, Inc.
“To be successful with the diverse array of products and projects Superior Aviation Group has undertaken both in China and international markets, we have had to develop a keen insight into a wide array of differing business practices and cultures,” Archer said. “With Ana’s international business experience, multi-cultural and multi-lingual background, she has been a key player in many of our projects in China, the U.S. and South America.”
“We believe that as our new Executive Vice President and General Manager, that she will be in a position to provide even more guidance to Superior AvConsulting Services customers,” he said.

This is a very exciting opportunity, which will allow me to use my passion and experience in developing international markets to their fullest extent,” Ms. Fontes said. “Globalization has significantly impacted the business and general aviation environments and in order to maximize these new opportunities, our clients will need our guidance in adopting a global mindset complimented with a deep understanding of local cultural differences.”
“While aviation is a very specialized industry, the added complexity of doing business at a global level often presents far greater challenges than many companies realize,” she said. “Many companies simply lack the knowhow to successfully conduct business in these culturally diverse parts of the world. Our goal is to help these companies succeed in these new markets and grow their business in China and around the world.
In addition to her new responsibilities with Superior AvConsulting Services, Ms. Fontes will continue her role as Group Director of International Business Development for the Superior Aviation Group.
Prior to her promotion to the Group position, Ms. Fontes was the Brazilian sales and marketing representative for Superior Air Parts, Inc., a member of the Superior Aviation Group. Before joining Superior, she operated her own international consulting company, Fontes Marketing Consulting, which specialized in helping U.S. and international companies open new markets in Brazil and South America, she also served as Corporate Marketing and Americas Sales Director for Mistral Engines, S.A.
Ms. Fontes is also the Director of International Affairs for AOPA Brazil (APPA).
She holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the FCETM- Economic Sciences University of Triângulo Mineiro – Uberaba-MG, Brazil.
