NEW YORK, NY and LANSDOWNE, VA, May 8, 2015 – Europe’s acclaimed seafood purveyor Caviar House & Prunier has made its return to the New York market with the re-opening today of its first and only U.S. location at John F. Kennedy International Airport’s Terminal 4, announced SSP America, a division of SSP Group, a leading operator of food and beverage brands in travel locations worldwide.

The new Caviar House & Prunier Seafood Bar re-joins Terminal 4’s exciting lineup of high quality food and beverage offerings featuring a wide variety of award-winning concepts by celebrated chefs. Also making their debut at the terminal are the street food-inspired cuisine of UrbanCrave and fresh on-the-go Camden Food Co.

Loved by gourmets and connoisseurs, the Caviar House & Prunier Seafood Bar will reprise its earlier outpost at Terminal 4 which opened in 2008, but closed several years later to make way for a major construction project which significantly expanded Terminal 4. With its return, Caviar House & Prunier Seafood Bar features a new, contemporary dining style, and a unique new menu which includes Prunier caviar and Balik salmon, along with quality seafood, champagne and wine. A special menu has been created for Terminal 4, dedicated to finding the perfect fusion between the East Coast and Europe’s seafood cultures. New items on the menu include a Crab Cake BLT, Lobster Mango Salad and Shrimp Bacon Club, among many other delicious choices. International travelers can enjoy the same elegant experience and inspired dishes as featured in Caviar House & Prunier’s Hong Kong, London and Geneva locations, in addition to local signature items.

“Terminal 4 strives to create a superior passenger experience for travelers, and, as such, our terminal features an unparalleled selection of food and beverage offerings,” said Gert-Jan de Graaff, President and CEO of JFKIAT, LLC, which operates JFK Terminal 4. “We look forward to our continued work with SSP America to bring in food and beverage offerings that not only reflect the city we live in, but also meet the diverse needs of our travelers.”

“SSP America has experienced tremendous growth in the last year alone as a result of our team’s continued focus on exciting brands, quality service and world-class design. Caviar House & Prunier is the latest example of how we’re able to deliver a winning portfolio of brands to a discerning JFK passenger base,” said Michael Svagdis, President and CEO of SSP America. “Our successful partnership with the JFKIAT team will remain focused on creating an extraordinary passenger experience for one of the finest airport terminals in the world.”

With “Street Food” a growing trend throughout the U.S.--SSP America created UrbanCrave, a concept that brought the first “street eats” to the airport arena. UrbanCrave combines classic street food choices – sliders, poutine and wraps – with quick service and a comfortable environment, welcoming business travelers and families alike. With locations in Houston, San Diego, and Orlando, Terminal 4 welcomes UrbanCrave to provide passengers with a true taste of New York City.

SSP America also unveils this month Camden Food Co., an extension of its successful Camden Food concept, which opened at Terminal 4 in the summer of 2014. At Camden Food Co., ‘food on the move’ will meet travelers’ needs, wants, and lifestyle choices. Camden Food Co. will feature fresh whole foods, including fruit, artisan sandwiches, and healthy choice grab-and-go items that are both organic and local.

SSP America is the exclusive food and beverage purveyor at Terminal 4. Terminal 4 is operated by JFKIAT, the only U.S. air terminal managed by a private terminal management company.
