VAS Aero Services, a global leader in aviation logistics and aftermarket services, reported that prominent aviation industry executive William Kircher has been named Chief Executive Officer of the Florida-based company.
A recognized professional with decades of experience in aerospace, Kircher has a strong background in repair and engine overhaul services, business operations, and international markets, while serving in a succession of senior strategic leadership roles throughout his distinguished career.

Joining VAS from Pratt & Whitney (a division of United Technologies Corporation), Kircher was most recently the Vice President of Singapore Overhaul & Repair at P&W, as well as the President of UTC Aerospace Singapore.
As Vice President of Singapore Overhaul & Repair, Kircher led Pratt & Whitney's repair and engine overhaul businesses in Singapore and Taiwan. As President of UTC Aerospace Singapore, he was responsible for UTC products, services and operational presence in Singapore, as well as the development of the company's business strategy. Joining UTC in 1999, he held various senior leadership roles within Pratt & Whitney, including serving as the Managing Director of ESA, as well as the Director of Pratt's turbine airfoil repair sector.
Kircher earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University in Industrial Engineering/Management Science and an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He has served on various boards during his career, including the co-chair of the Aerospace and Defense committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.
