Continental Motors Receives Production Certificate from FAA to Assemble CD-100 Series Diesel Engine Retrofit Kits in North America

Mobile, Alabama, April 16, 2015 – Continental Motors Group (CMG), an AVIC International Holding Corporation company announces receipt of Production Certificate from FAA to assemble the CD-135 and CD-155 Diesel Engine Retrofit Kits in North America.  By expanding final assembly of the diesel engine retrofit kits globally, customers will benefit with increased availability and improved lead times.  The engines that are produced for these kits will continue to be manufactured at Continental Motors’ plant in St. Egidien, Germany.

CMG has selected its Continental Motors Services (CMS) division in Fairhope, Alabama for the final assembly and installation of the CD-135 and CD-155 diesel engine retrofit kits.  Retrofit kits will be stocked at CMS and listed on www.ContinentalMotors.aero by Q2 2015.  An announcement with more detail will be coming out soon.  CMS continues to grow and offer an ever expanding line of services with locations in Fairhope and Mobile, Alabama as well as Medley, Florida.
