Boeing Shanghai Completes Tenth 737-700 Delivery Check for GE Capital Aviation Services

SHANGHAI, March 31, 2015 – Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services Co., Ltd., (Boeing Shanghai) has successfully completed its tenth Boeing 737-700 delivery check for GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS) at Boeing Shanghai’s Pudong International Airport facility.

Their expertise in the field contributes significantly to program reliability thereby ensuring timely delivery of high quality aircraft to our customer airlines,” said Sean Flannery, General Manager, GECAS.

GECAS and Boeing Shanghai’s cooperation can be traced back to May 2010. Boeing Shanghai’s support to GECAS includes delivery checks, heavy maintenance visits, cabin and avionics modifications and full painting services for certain 737 and 767 aircraft to ensure smooth airplane transitions to lessees with competitive cost and attractive ground times.
