For the first time in the US, Price Induction will present to the aircraft MRO community its dedicated educational solutions for aviation maintenance training. Based on the company‘s very own DGEN turbofan engine, WESTT SOLUTIONS puts typical turbofan technology and manufacturers’ know-how at the trainees’ fingertips. WESTT SOLUTIONS contributes to answering the massive need for qualified maintenance engineers by increasing trainee learning efficiency and motivation.
Price Induction offers a customizable equipment configuration best suited for hands-on training which includes top-of-the-range practical tools such as the full engine assembly station WESTT SEV. By combining virtual animations with engine documentation and real turbofan components, training organizations can design interactive and motivating shifting sessions in small groups.
Price Induction is also introducing an innovative training method in Gas Turbine theory. The interactive WESTT BV66 learning station provides a proactive and flexible approach to covering all subjects of EASA Part-66 Module 15 training in which the operating principles of gas turbines are illustrated by the hardware-in-the-loop simulation of the DGEN 380 turbofan engine.
ABOUT THE DGEN ENGINE
A new engine for a new class of airplanes.
The DGEN 380 engine is the world’s smallest turbofan: it is intended for 4 seat twin-engine Personal Light Jets flying under 25’000ft and 250kts. The DGEN 380 engine has been completely developed and tested in-house by Price Induction’s engineering team. It is recognized worldwide as a mature technology and a great technical success.
