Cd. Obregon, Son, MX. March 18th 2015. QET Tech Aerospace (QTA) receives FAA 145 certification allowing them to do maintenance on aircraft, registered in the USA, in Mexico.

The United States government has lifted the ban implemented November 18, 2009 preventing new companies outside the United States from receiving certifications for repair stations by the FAA. QTA is the first company in Mexico to obtain a new certification since the ban has been lifted.

We have a tremendous competitive advantage due to our proximity to the United States and having a low cost structure with a highly skilled workforce. Our market focus will continue to serve the local market, but we expect rapid growth through US companies seeking to do their aircraft maintenance in Mexico, "said Mike Dornenburg, VP Technical & Commercial Operations QTA.

“We are also pleased to announce that Guillermo Heredia Cabarga is accepted the position as Chairman of the Board of QTA. Mr. Heredia has extensive and valuable experience in the aviation sector beneficial to this new expected growth” continues Mike Dornenburg.
