Chris Cooper Named Business Development Director Of Phillips 66 Aviation

Cooper will be responsible for developing branded and unbranded avgas and jet opportunities through new outlets, as well as enhancing global packaging and branding capabilities

HOUSTON February 26, 2015 – Phillips 66® Aviation, the nation’s largest network of branded aviation dealers, today announced the appointment of Chris Cooper as director, business development for general aviation. Cooper will report to Greg Hart, manager, and continue to work out of Bartlesville, Okla.

In his new role, Cooper will be responsible for developing branded and unbranded avgas and jet opportunities through new outlets, as well as enhancing global packaging and branding capabilities. For the past two years, Cooper served as senior supply coordinator, general aviation, where he coordinated third party avgas and jet fuel procurement across general aviation, managed product nominations with suppliers and allocations with all customers, as well as managed supply performance analytics. A replacement for the senior supply coordinator has yet to be named.

Prior to joining Phillips 66 Aviation, Cooper worked in the aviation industry for twenty-plus years in roles of increasing responsibility for IATA Global Charge Programme, Chevron Global Aviation and Mercury Fuels.

Currently pursuing an MBA at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Cooper also holds a Bachelor of Science in business management from the University of Phoenix, and undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University.
