Breeze-Eastern Appoints RUAG Aviation as Center of Excellence

March 3, 2015

ORLANDO, Fla., March 2, 2015 – Breeze Eastern Corporation (NYSE MKT: BZC), the aerospace industry’s only dedicated hoist and winch specialist, has appointed RUAG Aviation as a Center of Excellence (COE) in Europe. RUAG Aviation is headquartered in Switzerland and is an experienced and authorized service center for Breeze-Eastern products.

As a COE, RUAG Aviation is guaranteeing 30-day turn times and other enhanced services for product maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) work for HS-29700 series rescue hoists. In addition to expedited turn times, COE personnel at RUAG Aviation are available to provide customers with flight line training and on-site technical support.

To qualify as a COE, an authorized service center must have extensive knowledge and demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, training and technical support for its designated product family. COEs are expected to maintain the same high standards for quality and responsive support that are factory-standard at the OEM in Whippany.

“The establishment of a Center of Excellence reflects the company’s commitment to improving customer service and reducing turn times,” said Rodger Hahneman, general manager at Breeze-Eastern. “As a long-time strategic partner, we are pleased to have RUAG Aviation leading the way with this important new program.”

“Customer satisfaction, availability and reliability are our objectives. With this long-term partnership RUAG Aviation can guarantee life cycle services and increase availability of Breeze-Eastern hoist products,” said Stephan Jezler, SVP Aviation International at RUAG. “With our subsidiaries and maintenance facilities on five continents we continue expanding to support our customers wherever they are.”

Breeze-Eastern will be exhibiting its products in Booth 4032 throughout Heli-Expo 2015, March 3-5 in Orlando, Florida.
