February 2015 – Camarillo, CA – Sun Air Jets, a leader in private aviation, today announced the latest recognition of its operational excellence for being awarded the prestigious Diamond Award of Excellence for 2014 from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Diamond Award, the FAA's highest honor for maintenance training, recognizes Sun Air's ongoing commitment to high quality maintenance and training excellence.

The FAA first created this award program in 1991 to encourage aviation maintenance technicians and their employers to actively participate in training programs. The Diamond Award recognizes that 100 percent of Sun Air's technicians completed training in the past year, including a minimum of 12 hours of training for each technician.
