January 29, 2015 – Fort Worth, Texas – Baker Aviation, a full service aircraft management, charter, and maintenance company in North Texas, has announced the major expansion of their operation that includes seven additional aircraft to the management and charter fleet and 21,000 square feet of extra hangar space at the Texas Jet FBO located at Fort Worth’s Meacham International Airport.
“We are exponentially expanding our business in a very short period of time and establishing Baker Aviation as a major player in the charter management business here in Texas,” stated W. Stanley “Stan” Baker III, President of Baker Aviation Charter (FAA 135 # 7BAA817M). “We launched the company in 2008, and I knew then, even with the economic turmoil, there were opportunities for us to build a premier aviation company that provides the turn-key alternative to the traditional flight department,” added Baker.
The new Baker Aviation aircraft fleet now includes two Citation IIIs, a Citation II, a Hawker 800XP, Falcon 50EX, Falcon 2000, King Air B200, Piaggio Avanti, Embraer Legacy 600. In addition to the fleet expansion, Baker has plans to occupy an additional hangar next month, near their existing facility, which will bring the aircraft charter/management operation’s total space to more than 40,000 square feet.
