FlightSafety promotes Fabio Miguez to Regional Operations Manager

NEW YORK (January 15, 2015) - FlightSafety International announces that Fabio Miguez has been promoted to Regional Operations Manager. He continues to serve as Manager of the company’s Learning Center in Columbus, Ohio.

As Regional Operations Manager, Fabio will oversee FlightSafety’s Learning Centers in Houston, Texas, Wilmington, Delaware, and the new Center that will provide training for the HondaJet in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Fabio will provide guidance and support to the Managers of these Centers and assist with the planning and preparation of training program delivery, Customer service and satisfaction initiatives, business development, and the entry into service of flight simulators and other advanced training devices.

He joined FlightSafety at the Teterboro Center in 2004 and held a number of positions of increasing responsibility. They included Avionics Instructor, Program Manager, and Director of Programs for Dassault Falcon Jet training. Fabio was then promoted to Assistant Manager of the Columbus Center, became Manager of FlightSafety’s Toledo Learning Center in 2010, and was named Manager of the Columbus Center in 2012.

Fabio holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and has over 2,000 hours of flight experience in helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. Fabio was a Lead Programmer at FlightFactory Simulations prior to joining FlightSafety.

The Columbus Center provides training for pilots, maintenance technicians and flight attendants who operate aircraft manufactured by Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault, Embraer, Gulfstream and Hawker. It is equipped with simulators for the Cessna Citation Excel, Citation X, Citation XLS, Citation Sovereign, Dassault Falcon 2000, Gulfstream G200, Hawker 900XP, Bombardier Challenger 350 and Global Vision 6000. The Center’s Embraer Phenom 300 simulator is used exclusively by NetJets.
