David Settergren joins AerSale as Vice President – Sales, Asia Pacific

Settergren’s appointment will further enhance AerSale’s global reach within the aviation industry.

Coral Gables, FL – January 8th, 2015 AerSale, Inc. announced today that David Settergren has joined the AerSale team as Vice President – Sales, Asia Pacific to grow the Company’s global aviation marketing efforts in the Asia Pacific Region.  Settergren’s appointment will further enhance AerSale’s global reach within the aviation industry.

David most recently served as Vice President – Sales & Marketing with GE Capital Aviation Services where he covered the Asia Pacific Region for the past 13 years.  He first joined GE Aircraft Engines in 1988 as a Field Service representative supporting military and commercial engine applications in Germany, Israel and China.  In 1997, Settergren moved to Malaysia in a sales role with GE Aircraft Engines and GE Engine Services covering Asia.

Settergren earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation Management in 1988 from Southern Illinois University with an Associate degree in Aviation Technology.  In addition to being licensed A&P Mechanic, David is also a licensed pilot.
