ADS-B Part 23 and Part 25 Installations Forum, January 12-13

The Aircraft Electronics Association will play host to an FAA and industry forum to address the challenges of ADS-B Out installations in the Part 23 and 25 arena. Companies that manufacture ADS-B Out products or install these products should plan to attend this forum at the AEA's international headquarters in Lee's Summit, Missouri. The agenda is to investigate ADS-B Out from the installer's challenges, including availability of products; availability of supplemental type certificates; integration challenges; utility of field approvals; and customer motivation.

Representatives from the FAA's Avionics Maintenance Branch, the Small Airplane Directorate and the Transport Directorate will be in attendance. The complimentary forum is divided into two sections, and industry professionals may attend both days or select the day that meets your needs. The forum begins Monday, Jan. 12, from 1-5 p.m. CST with a discussion on Part 23 installation challenges. It concludes Tuesday, Jan. 13, with a full-day to address Part 25 installation challenges. Seats are limited, so please register only one representative per company.
