Lufthansa Technical Training (LTT) has been approved as a training provider by the aviation authority of the United Arab Emirates, the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA). LTT can consequently hold GCAA-recognized aviation basic and type training courses.

This provides the companies and participants from around the region both economical and operating advantages."
Category A and category B1.1 (both aviation engineers) and B2 (avionics engineers) basic aviation training courses in accordance with GCAA-CAR 66 (Civil Aviation Regulation) are entered in the certificate of approval. Type training courses for the Airbus A320, A330, A380, Boeing 737NG, 737CL, B747-8 and 777 aircraft models are also approved.
Following the successful completion of the aviation training courses, LTT can provide the participants a GCAA "Certificate of Recognition".
With this certificate the graduates can then have the respective aircraft types entered in their local license at the GCAA authority.
Be approved by the GCAA, LTT now has, either itself or via joint ventures, up-to-date approvals from seven aviation authorities, including EASA, RFAA and CAAC.
