Distinguished Aviation Veteran Joins Sales Team

Cincinnati, OH, December 1, 2014
ARGUS International, Inc. (ARGUS) is pleased to welcome Michael Volpe as the new Regional Sales Manager for the Eastern half of the United States, as well as Eastern Canada. Volpe will be responsible for selling ARGUS and PRISM (Professional Resources In System Management) SMS products and services to customers in his region.
Volpe’s 30+ year career in aviation began in the mid-1970s at Eastern Airlines. From there, he advanced through Commercial Aviation as the District Sales Manager for Alitalia Airlines before becoming their Manager of Alliances and Partnerships. Volpe transitioned into Business Aviation becoming the VP of Charter Sales at Jet Aviation in 2005 where he led the Charter Sales Team during their three year stint as the Robb Report’s “Best of the Best in Charter Services.” He most recently served as Jet Aviation’s Vice President of Client Relations.

Volpe is most prominently known throughout the industry for coordinating the implementation of the first global airline alliance in aviation history: the Continental / SAS alliance. He will be based out of an office on Long Island, NY.
