Avionics Industry Mourns Death of Marshall Temple

The avionics industry lost a legend on Nov. 16, as Marshall E. Temple, 85, passed away peacefully. Temple founded Temple Electronics, and his company has been a member of the Aircraft Electronics Association since 1974. 

He is survived by his wife, Emma Earlene (Jarvis) Temple; children and their spouses, James and Janet Temple, Jerry and Laura Scott, John and Mandy Hall, and Patricia Bumgarner. 

Born and raised in Cleburne Texas, Temple was a long-time resident of Pearland, Texas. In 1945, he joined the U.S. Navy where he learned avionics. Temple had a passion for the outdoors and loved to fish, hunt and golf.
