FAA STC for 3-blade Propeller on Beech Duchess 76

MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH has received the FAA STC #SA03479NY for the next generation 3-blade scimitar composite propeller MTV-12-B-C-F/CF(L)183-59b on the Beech Duchess 76 powered by the Engines Lycoming (L)(I)O-360-( ) and other TC/STC approved piston engines which do not exceed the propeller TCDS. The installation is already certified by EASA STC#10048838.

The propeller installation:

- provides best vibration damping characteristics for almost vibration free propeller operations

- has bonded on stainless steel leading edge for best erosion protection of the blades 

- has 10 kg (22 lbs) weight reduction per propeller compared with the original propellers

- provides enhanced cruise performance by 2 to 3 kts (MTOW, ISA)

- has unlimited blade life; FOD repairable blades 

- provides significant inside and outside noise reduction

- has an improved take-off and climb performance
