November 2014 – Chicago, Illinois -- Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI), the leading provider of hourly cost maintenance programs for the business aviation industry, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) will be co-hosting the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) Aviation Valuation Educational Series for 2015.

By participating in this educational program, aviation professionals seeking a career in aircraft valuation and appraising or a specialty designation can obtain certification, offered through this ASA program, as well as meet the on-going continuing education requirements. The course, ME201ASA – Introduction to Machinery and Equipment Valuation, will be presented at the ERAU campus in Daytona Beach, Florida, January 11-14, 2015.

As ASA expands its global footprint, the ME201ASA course will later be conducted in Farnborough, England on February 5-8, 2015 at the TAG facility on the Farnborough International Airport, which is also home to JSSI’s International Headquarters. JSSI will provide expert insight into aircraft maintenance and its effect on asset value, as well as the benefits of hourly cost maintenance programs, at both ASA course locations. To register now, go to www.appraiser.org or call +1-800-272-8258.

“JSSI is a strong supporter of the ASA Aviation Valuation program,” stated Susan Marr, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for JSSI. “Enhancing the value of an aircraft is a key benefit for our clients enrolled onto a JSSI Program so we enjoy educating these aspiring appraisers on how maintenance plays such a vital role in the asset’s value.”

“As the top Aerospace and Aviation University in the world, it is a natural fit for Embry-Riddle to support this ASA educational series for Aviation Valuation,” commented Louis C. Seno, Vice President for Corporate Relations and Government Affairs for ERAU.  “We are proud to be co-hosting these courses in Daytona with JSSI and look forward to the expanded venue in England as well.”

The ASA Aviation Valuation course in Farnborough (February 5th – 8th) has been scheduled in coordination with Corporate Jet Investor’s Fifth Annual Corporate Jet Investor and Helicopter Investor Conferences in London on February 9th - 12th so attendees can participate in both programs.  For more details about this conference go to www.corporatejetinvestor.com
