SkyWest Selects FlightSafety International To Provide Training Services Using Full Flight Simulators

FlightSafety plans to open a new Learning Center to serve SkyWest in the Denver area in 2016.

NEW YORK (October 20, 2014) - FlightSafety International announces that it has been selected by SkyWest Airlines to provide training services using full flight simulators at a new Learning Center in Colorado.

This agreement demonstrates FlightSafety’s capabilities to deliver high quality, cost-effective training solutions and services to commercial airlines.”

FlightSafety is currently providing SkyWest with an Embraer E175 simulator in an interim facility in Denver, Colorado. A second Embraer E175 full flight simulator and two Graphical Flight-deck Simulators will enter service in early 2015. The Graphical Flight-deck Simulators allow for instructor-led and self-paced learning to supplement and reinforce full flight simulator instruction.

FlightSafety plans to open a new Learning Center to serve SkyWest in the Denver area in 2016. It will be equipped with two Embraer E175 simulators and Graphical Flight-deck Simulators.  FlightSafety will also install full flight simulators and Graphical Flight-deck Simulators for the Bombardier CRJ700 and CRJ200 aircraft. The Center will offer classrooms and a full complement of Customer service areas. It can be expanded in the future to accommodate up to six full flight simulators if required.
